Kellie martin is an American film, television and stage actress. Her most notable roles include Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy'; Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". She is also known for being the main character in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin was born to a department shop buyer and a kindergarten instructor. The actress began her acting career as a child at the age of seven. her aunt, the nanny of Michael Landon's household, assisted Martin to be a guest star on the TV show Father Murphy. When she completed her studies at Yale University in 1982, Martin decided to pursue her acting career more seriously. Her roles were significant in television and on the big screen. Martin, besides acting, she is also a skilled photographer as well as a ballet dancer. Her sister who passed away of Lupus at age 19, inspired her to become the Lupus the national spokesperson.
