On September 16, 1958 Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard circumstances. Her father was a vehicle salesman and her mother was a teacher. Jennifer being the 2nd daughter of four was a part of theater productions with her mother, and was amazed. Jennifer's parents divorced at the age of five. Jennifer was a part of her childhood within British Columbia when her mother moved there with the four kids. Jennifer, although she had developed into an exceptionally talented young woman, was not a very educated person. Because of her experience in Canada's public schools, Jennifer was the subject of a lot of bullying. As her interest in theatre was fading at the age of 16, she began playing in theatre together with her mom. She encouraged her kids to pursue a passion for the arts. Immediately after that she started acting.
